Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu delivered a decisive performance with a brace to help Trabzonspor secure a commanding 3–1 away victory over Kayserispor in their Süper Lig clash on Monday evening, Afrik Foot reports.
The Bordo-Mavililer made the most of an early advantage at the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadyumu, as Onuachu’s clinical finishing helped his side move within seven points of the league leaders, Galatasaray SK.
Trabzonspor took control of the contest after Kayserispor midfielder Dorukhan Toköz was sent off in the eighth minute following a VAR review, leaving the hosts to play with ten men for the remainder of the game.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, the home side managed to hold off Trabzonspor’s pressure for much of the first half.
However, the breakthrough arrived deep into stoppage time when Onuachu latched onto a precise pass from Wagner Pina in the 45+2nd minute and calmly slotted the ball past goalkeeper Bilal Bayazit to give the visitors the lead.

Trabzonspor extended their dominance shortly after the restart. In the 53rd minute, Kayserispor goalkeeper Bayazit inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under pressure, handing the visitors a third goal and effectively sealing the contest.
The hosts managed to pull one back late on through German Onugkha, who finished from close range in the 83rd minute, but the goal proved little more than consolation as Trabzonspor held firm to secure all three points.
