FC Porto head coach Francisco Farioli has weighed in on Terem Moffi’s performance in their comeback victory against Braga yesterday, Afrik Foot reports.
The Dragons headed to Estadio Municipal in the hopes of extending their four-point lead over Sporting Lisbon.
However, they saw red flashes when Rodrigo Zalazar broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute.
Thankfully, goals from William Gomes and Seko Fofana completed a comeback for Farioli’s men as they went seven points clear at the top of the Liga Portugal.

Porto coach Farioli lauds Terem Moffi
Moffi came off the bench in the 55th minute as Porto pressed on for goals, and while he didn’t score, his impact was recognised by the team’s coach.
“It’s important to react against an opponent of this level. You can’t slow down a second, because otherwise we ended up giving opportunities,” the former OGC Nice coach said in quotes revealed by FC Porto’s official website.
“The entry of William Gomes and Terem Moffi was very positive, as was the Seko Fofana who scored the goal or Borja Sainz and Pablo who helped us win meters in the opposing area.
“It was a very positive game and it’s a win for the whole team.”

“We can’t forget anyone, from the players who started at the beginning to those who were entering.
“Of course, Seko Fofana scored the goal and helped us bring aggressiveness, stay in the opposing midfield and play in the transition.
“It was very positive, now we want to enjoy in the next few hours, and in a few days we started to prepare the next game always with the same desire to evolve.
“We are in the final stretch of this marathon and we need everyone to be at the best level and in good physical and mental condition.
“We’re going to have multiple players in the teams. It’s important that everyone is ready to help us when they come back,” Farioli concluded.

Away from domestic success, Porto are still in contention for European silverware. They will play against Nottingham Forest in the quarter-final of the UEFA Europa League after the March International break.
