Saudi option premature for Victor Osimhen – Prandelli

Despite Osimhen's preference for remaining in Europe, it is the route to the Saudi Pro League that appears most plausible at this time, on account of Napoli's inflexibility in negotiations. Al-Ahli, in particular, have been heavily linked with a move for the Nigeria international.

However, Prandelli believes that it is too soon to consider such a transfer, and that he should seek to further in legacy in Europe instead, at least in the meantime.

“Osimhen in Arabia? A champion must assert himself in Europe; he has the opportunity. There will be time to go elsewhere,” the 66-year-old said during an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss.

Since his arrival at Napoli from Lille in, Osimhen has been a pivotal figure in the club’s setup, playing a crucial role in Napoli's triumph in securing their first Scudetto in 33 years in the 2022/23 season, when he led Serie A with 26 goals.
