English Premier League club Fulham are trying to negotiate a lower price for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, Afrik-Foot reports.
Chukwueze moved from AC Milan to Fulham last summer after he was informed that he would not play a key role at the Italian club this season.
The 26-year-old winger joined on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day and has since proven to be one of their best signings of the season.

So far, the former Villarreal man has contributed three goals and seven assists in 22 appearances for the Cottagers.
His performances have prompted speculation that the English club will look to keep him beyond this season. His loan deal included an option-to-buy clause rather than an obligation-to-buy.
Consequently, with two years still remaining on his AC Milan contract, there is a possibility that Chukwueze could return to the Rossoneri if a deal isn’t reached.

However, recent reports suggest that Fulham have started making moves to keep their Nigerian star.
Fulham Ask For Discount For Samuel Chukwueze
Fulham have started talks to sign Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan permanently.
But a deal might be delayed because, according to Milan Press, the Premier League club is trying to negotiate a lower price for the Super Eagles star than originally agreed.
The agreed option price between the two parties is €24 million, but Fulham are looking to pay a reduced fee.

At this stage, it is unknown whether the Rossoneri will budge. Current coach Massimiliano Allegri definitely does not see Chukwueze as a key player.
Since they paid €25 million for the Nigerian’s services three years ago, they might simply decide to cut their losses and sell.
However, there have been reports of interest from other Premier League clubs like West Ham and Crystal Palace. If these clubs are serious about meeting Milan’s valuation, AC Milan might end up doing business with them instead.
