Several Qatari and Saudi Arabian clubs are keeping tabs on Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke, Afrik-Foot reports.
The Nigerian international has experienced a topsy-turvy spell since joining Sevilla as a free agent in 2024. While he has featured in 51 games—tallying three goals and two assists—a significant portion of those appearances have come off the bench.
This season has been particularly stop-start for the winger. After struggling for regular minutes under former coach Matías Almeyda, Ejuke’s role remains uncertain under new manager Luis García Plaza, who has frequently rotated his tactical setup.

Ejuke did benefit from García’s changes last weekend, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad.
While the 28-year-old failed to find the net, he showed his trademark flair, completing five dribbles and creating one key opportunity. Despite getting into dangerous positions, his finishing continues to be a point of criticism.
For much of Ejuke’s career, his most notable quality has been his ability to razzle and dazzle on the ball, earning him inevitable comparisons to the legendary Jay-Jay Okocha.
However, his lack of end product remains a hurdle; for all his technical wizardry, he often lacks the numbers in goals and assists required to thrive consistently in elite European football.

Sevilla Willing to Part Ways with Super Eagles’ Chidera Ejuke
Sevilla are reportedly open to selling Chidera Ejuke if a suitable offer arrives this summer, according to Ficherio. This comes as there is interest from some Saudi Arabian and Qatari clubs. They have even sent scouts to watch him a few times this season.
The Super Eagles star has not established himself as a very important player in the squad this season, leading the club to view him as a dispensable asset.
With just over a year left on his current contract and no talks of an extension in sight, this summer could be the final opportunity for Sevilla to do business.

Also, Los Nervionenses are under pressure to make some player sales in order to comply with La Liga’s stringent financial regulations.
The former CSKA Moscow hero is currently valued at approximately €4 million. Considering Sevilla signed him on a free transfer, offloading him for such a fee would represent a healthy profit and a sensible bit of business for the Andalusian club.
