Nigeria enter the clash as favourites against Guinea-Bissau, given the depth of quality and talent available in Eric Chelle’s squad.

The gulf in quality is not only reflected on the pitch but also in the market values of the players, with Nigeria ranking among the most valuable African national teams in the world.

The Super Eagles have several top players based across Europe, including Victor Osimhen, although he is currently injured, as well as Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and other established stars.

Ivory Coast are next on the list with a squad market value of around €482 million, while Senegal follow with €389 million.

The Super Eagles then come in fourth with a total market value of around €285 million. Victor Osimhen is Nigeria’s most valuable player, with a market value of €75 million, while Ademola Lookman is also among the country’s most valuable players.
