Super Eagles to compete in 2026 Unity Cup

The NFF previously announced that Nigeria will play against Poland and Portugal in June. Both fixtures are friendly games since they won’t be participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

They’ve now announced that the AFCON 2025 bronze-medallists will also be participating in the 2026 Unity Cup, but this time, at the Hallowed Turf of the Valley in London, which is Charlton Athletic’s Stadium.

The revamped four-nation tournament will include Nigeria, Jamaica, Zimbabwe, and India.

The Unity Cup was first hosted at The Valley in 2004, a landmark event involving Nigeria, Jamaica and the Republic of Ireland that solidified the competition’s reputation for blending elite sport with cultural celebration.

The first semi-final will be played on the 26th of May, with kick-off scheduled for 7:00 pm, and will see Nigeria take on Zimbabwe.

The second semi-final will be played the following day, by 7:30 pm, and will see Jamaica take on India.
