Ex-Super Eagles defender throws support behind Arsenal ahead of UCL final vs PSG

Ex-Super Eagles and Leventis United defender, Tajudeen Disu, has backed the English Premier League winners Arsenal to win the UEFA Champions League, Afrik Foot reports.

The Gunners will be playing their first final since May 2006, when they lost to Barcelona at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Paris, France.

This time, they’ll be playing against the reigning European Champions, Paris Saint-Germain, at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Disu tips Arsenal to win UCL final over PSG

The final is scheduled to be played tomorrow by 5:00 PM WAT, and Disu believes the Gunners have what it takes to get it over the line.

However, he also warned that it won’t be an easy fixture, considering Paris Saint-Germain won the previous edition a year ago.

“I hope Arsenal will win it this time,” the ex-Abiola Babes defender told Footy Africa.

“This is because they have been in the final before and lost. It’s been a long time coming.

“I wish them [Arsenal] the very best of luck.

“It’s not going to be an easy match because PSG are a great side and defending champions, but if Arsenal can get their tactics right, they can win,” Disu concluded.
