Over the years, Nigeria has produced footballers whose reputations stretch far beyond Africa. The Super Eagles, with its proud tradition, is the perfect epitome of this.
The latest edition of EA Sports FC 26 offers a numerical snapshot of where Nigerian players currently stand in the global hierarchy. The ratings are not gospel, but they do paint an intriguing portrait. Based strictly on those numbers, here is the Super Eagles' strongest XI in a 4-3-3 system.
Best Super Eagles XI on EA FC26
Goalkeeper
Maduka Okoye holds the gloves. Rated 74, the Udinese man is once again Nigeria’s highest-ranked goalkeeper, his second straight year in that position. Curiously, Stanley Nwabali, current Super Eagles No. 1, does not appear in the game, leaving Okoye to man the posts.

Defence
At right-back, Ola Aina’s steady rise is recognised with a five-point upgrade. Now rated 80, the Nottingham Forest defender is Nigeria’s top performer in that role.
On the opposite flank, Felix Agu, newly capped for the Super Eagles, takes left-back. His 75 rating is bolstered by a blistering 91 pace, making him one of the game’s fastest full-backs.
Central defence is a pairing of pragmatism and potential. Igoh Ogbu, not yet an established international but a promising presence, joins Calvin Bassey. Ogbu’s rating equals that of Jordan Torunarigha, but his right-footed balance earns the nod.

Bassey, the senior figure, is the nation’s best centre-back at 78, with pace (81) and physicality (89) as his defining qualities.
Midfield
Raphael Onyedika edges Wilfred Ndidi to anchor the midfield. Ndidi once stood as Nigeria’s highest-rated player, peaking at 85 in FIFA 22. Now at 76, injuries have clipped his influence, allowing Club Brugge’s Onyedika, rated 77, to take over.
Alongside him, Alex Iwobi retains his creative heartbeat, rated 80 with standout dribbling (84) and vision (81).

To his right, Crystal Palace’s Christantus Uche, new to the Premier League and already making waves, lines up with a 76 rating. His physicality (83) and positioning (78) complement Iwobi’s guile.
Attack
On the right, Samuel Chukwueze, now with Fulham, carries an 80 rating. He remains the country’s most accomplished wide forward in the game, his reputation intact despite club shifts.
The opposite flank belongs to Ademola Lookman. Rated 84 after a stellar year with Atalanta, Lookman is the most versatile of Nigeria’s attackers, equally effective as a winger, forward, or secondary striker.

Leading the line is Victor Osimhen. With an 87 rating at Galatasaray, he is not only Nigeria’s highest-rated player but also one of the world’s most formidable strikers. He briefly touched 88 in FC 24, but his current number still reflects his dominance.
