Over the course of a 20-year career, the Lagos-born icon represented the likes of Farense, Go Ahead Eagles and Deportivo la Coruna. He was a part of the Nigeria team that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the country's first without the benefit of playing on home soil.
