Real Reason Kelechi Iheanacho Snubbed Celtic For Bursaspor

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is currently flying in Turkey with Bursaspor. This season, he has scored 11 goals in eight appearances and has clearly been the best player at his club.

However, he could have easily been playing for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. He played for the club last season, but his contract expired at the end of the season.

They tried to get him to sign an extension, but he ultimately refused. That decision raised a lot of questions, as not many players would snub Celtic for an average club in the second tier of Turkish football.

Iheanacho explained his decision on Monday.
