One-time Super Eagles invitee Kingsley Ehizibue claimed the man of the match award in Udinese’s 2-0 win over Torino, Afrik Foot reports.

The right-wing back had a blistering performance, scoring the second goal of the game in the 51st minute before he was taken off with 20 minutes left to spare.

The fixture also marked Maduka Okoye’s ninth clean sheet of the 2025/2026 Serie A season.

Super Eagles: Who is Kingsley Ehizibue

Kingsley Osezele Ehizibue was born on the 25th of May, 1995, in Munich, Germany, to Nigerian parents, although they all moved to the Netherlands when Kingsley turned two.

As such, he’s eligible to play for any of the three nations, although he represented Les Oranje at the youth level. At the senior level, he remains uncapped for any country.

Ehizibue’s professional journey began in the Netherlands. He made his senior breakthrough with PEC Zwolle, where he played over 130 games, scoring nine goals and providing 16 assists.

His performances earned a 2 million euro move to 1. FC Köln in the Bundesliga, where he was teammates with Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare.

During his time at FC Koln, Ehizibue was invited to Nigeria’s squad for the AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone in November 2020.

Across both games, Ehizibue wasn’t named on the bench for the Super Eagles, and since then, he hasn’t gotten a call-up.

He’s gone on to thrive in Udinese since then, playing over 100 games and scoring four goals.
