Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has admitted he is currently without a club and has no contract on the table following his exit from Chippa United, Afrik Foot reports.
This brings an end to his four-year spell with the South African side. The former Lobi Stars goalkeeper confirmed that he is now a free agent and is waiting patiently for the right opportunity to continue his career.
Despite being linked with several clubs in recent months, Nwabali revealed that no formal offer has been made to him yet.

The 29-year-old stressed that he is in no rush to sign for just any team and will only consider a move that suits both him and his representatives.
Nwabali plays down transfer speculation
The Nigerian goalkeeper has been linked with several sides since leaving Chippa United, including Kaizer Chiefs, Raja Club Athletic, Al-Ettifaq, and English Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
However, Nwabali has made it clear that none of those links has yet translated into concrete talks.
“There is no contract in front, there is no club in front,” Nwabali said to Andile Ncube on Sports Night Amplified. “And I am not guaranteeing you that a club will come today or tomorrow.
“I am not desperate to get a club, but whatever club that comes, if it suits my agent and it suits me, I am going to play.”

‘Best decision for both parties’ – Super Eagles goalkeeper
Nwabali also explained the circumstances surrounding his departure from Chippa United. The former Katsina United player described it as a difficult but necessary step in his career.
“It was a tough decision. It is not a nice feeling but in football, you have to make a step forward. It was something I really needed to do,” he said.
“There was very good understanding between both parties and it was something we both felt was the best.”

The Super Eagles shot-stopper is now expected to weigh his options carefully as he looks to secure a new club ahead of the next stage of his career, with interest reportedly coming from both within and outside South Africa.
