Super Eagles stars Terem Moffi and Zaidu Sanusi have been handed a boost in their pursuit of the Liga Portugal title with Porto, Afrik-Foot reports.
This comes after Sporting CP were held to a disappointing 2-2 draw at home to relegation-threatened Tondela on Tuesday.
After a goalless first half, Sporting sprang to a two-goal lead; however, a dramatic close to the game saw Tondela score two goals in the last two minutes of stoppage time to snatch a 2-2 draw.
That result ensures that the Lions stay third on the Liga Portugal table with 75 points after 31 games. As it stands, they are just below Benfica, who also have 75 points.

Porto have 82 points, seven points ahead of Benfica and nine ahead of Sporting. With three games left, the Dragons need to win just one more match to wrap up the Liga Portugal title.
Next up for Porto is a game against Alverca at the Estádio do Dragão. The Dragons are massive favorites going into that match, and with the knowledge that a win would see them clinch the title, they will have extra motivation to claim all three points.

Terem Moffi and Zaidu Sanusi are the two Super Eagles stars at Porto, and they will be hungry to win silverware.
While Sanusi won the Liga Portugal once in 2022, Moffi — who joined in January —has never tasted glory in Portugal. In fact, he has never won a league title; as such, this will be the first chance to win a trophy in his career.
May 2 could be the day of celebration for them if they defeat Alverca at home.

Meanwhile, both players’ futures still hang in the balance. Sanusi’s contract expires at the end of the season, and Porto are yet to table an extension.
As for Moffi, he would have to leave OGC Nice permanently to stay, but Porto have not categorically expressed a willingness to sign him yet. Consequently, he could leave Porto at the end of his loan.
