3. Calvin Bassey – £60,000 per week

Fulham defender Calvin Bassey is next on the list. The former Ajax and Rangers centre-back is estimated to earn £60,000 per week, or £3.12 million annually.

4. Taiwo Awoniyi – £50,000 per week

Awoniyi comes in at fourth, with an estimated salary of £50,000 per week. That works out at £2.6 million per year before bonuses.

7. Semi Ajayi – £25,000 per week

Semi Ajayi is estimated to earn £25,000 per week at Hull City.

That amounts to £1.3 million annually before his reported bonuses.

The experienced defender remains one of the more established Nigerian players in the English game.

8. Benjamin Fredrick – £8,000 per week

Brentford defender Benjamin Fredrick is estimated to earn £8,000 per week.

His reported annual fixed salary is £416,000, with an additional £104,000 listed as a potential bonus.

At 20, Fredrick is still at an early stage of his professional career and has a contract with Brentford until 2030.
