The Super Eagles of Nigeria are all set to take on Portugal tonight at Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, Afrik Foot reports.
Eric Chelle’s side drew to Poland in Warsaw last week, as goals from Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu were cancelled out by strikes from Kacper Potulski and Przemyslaw Wisniewski.
Portugal, meanwhile, defeated Chile in a friendly game on Saturday as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Super Eagles starting XI vs Portgal
Eric Chelle brought in Banik Ostrava wing-back Abdullahi Bewene to replace Femi Azeez in the Super Eagles squad after Milwall blocked the inclusion of their star player in Nigeria’s team to face Poland and Portugal.
While Bewene started against Poland, the Franco-Malian tactician has chosen to start Genk midfielder Christian Akpan at right-back tonight. The 21-year-old gets his first Super Eagles cap.
Maduka Okoye continues in goal, and is joined by Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Bruno Onyemaechi in defence.

Wilfred Ndidi anchors the Super Eagles midfield alongside Tochukwu Nnadi. For Alex Iwobi, it’s a milestone appearance as he joins Vincent Enyeama, Joseph Yobo and Ahmed Musa on the list of Nigerian players to have racked up 100 appearances for the National team.
At the top of Chelle’s diamond is Manchester United-linked Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who’s been given a rare start to impress in Lookman’s absence.

Kick-off for tonight’s friendly clash is scheduled for 8:45 PM WAT.
