Tottenham Hotspur are closely following young Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna after his strong start to life in Sweden with AIK, Afrik-Foot reports.
According to reports from Expressen, Spurs scouts travelled to Sweden to watch the 18-year-old in action during AIK’s 2-1 defeat to Degerfors IF on Thursday. Yohanna started on the right wing and played the full 90 minutes, giving the visiting officials a detailed look at his pace, skill and decision-making.
The teenager, who only joined AIK last summer, has quickly broken into the first team. Across nine games in all competitions this season, he has already contributed four goals and three assists, showing why he is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most exciting young attackers.

Those early numbers, including one goal and two assists in his first four league games, have helped raise his profile across Europe.
Tottenham are not alone in their interest. German clubs Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are all tracking his development, alongside English side Chelsea and Dutch giants Ajax. Belgian club Club Brugge are also reportedly monitoring the youngster who is nurturing a style similar to Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise.

Nigeria’s Yohanna focused despite transfer interest
Despite the growing attention, Yohanna insists he is not distracted by transfer talk.
Speaking after the match, he said: “No, I don’t know. I didn’t know there were scouts here. I’m just focusing on my game. My focus is completely on AIK.”
When asked about his future ambitions, the winger added: “Of course I have a dream.”

Even opposition manager Henok Goitom was full of praise for the teenager after the game, despite his side taking all three points. He revealed that Degerfors had to adjust tactically to stop Yohanna.
Goitom said: “Yohanna is an exceptional player. I love watching him play. He plays like he plays on the street. We told Samba [Diatara] that he is good. And to [Elias] Barsoum that we have to play two against one there.”
AIK are under no pressure to sell, but reports suggest they could demand between €20m and €25m if interest turns into formal offers. With scouts regularly attending matches, sometimes in large numbers, the chances of a summer move are growing quickly.
