Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has been a major name in Sevilla’s transfer news, as he has been linked with a transfer to Serie A club Venezia, Afrik-Foot reports.
The Nigerian striker was Los Nervionenses’ highest goalscorer in La Liga last season, recording ten goals and three assists in 32 appearances.
This marked a significant improvement from his debut season, which was hampered by injuries and inconsistent form.
Given his recent performance, his future has become a major talking point this summer, with links to Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1 and several Premier League clubs.

Although newly promoted Serie A side Venezia have expressed interest and submitted a bid, it is difficult to envision a player of Adams’ current stature joining them.
Nevertheless, the former Montpellier man seems custom-built for Serie A; he is fast, physically imposing, and dominant in aerial duels.
Afrik-Foot highlights three other Serie A clubs where Adams would fit in seamlessly.
1. AC Milan

AC Milan is looking to revamp its squad following the appointment of Rúben Amorim as head coach. With forwards such as Rafael Leão, Santiago Giménez, and Niclas Füllkrug potentially heading for the exit, the club faces a significant void in their attack.
Although the Rossoneri recently secured the signing of Gonçalo Ramos from PSG, they remain active in the market for further reinforcements.
Adams possesses the pace, clinical finishing, and off-the-ball work rate that align perfectly with Amorim’s tactical demands.
2. Como

Como has enjoyed a remarkable ascent in recent years, largely due to a brilliant transfer policy. The club has demonstrated an exceptional ability to scout and identify players who consistently deliver on the pitch.
Following their qualification for the Champions League last season, they are in urgent need of squad depth.
Adams would be an excellent addition to Cesc Fàbregas’ side. At 26, he provides the depth and high energy levels required to execute Fàbregas’ high-pressing style, making him a perfect fit for their current project.
3. Lazio

Lazio is another club that would benefit significantly from a striker of Adams’ caliber. Truthfully, the squad currently lacks top-tier offensive quality and lacks a forward who matches Adams’ level of impact.
The Super Eagles star would bring much-needed sharpness to the attack and provide an immediate boost to the team’s goal-scoring output.
With new coach Gennaro Gattuso having previously enjoyed success managing Victor Osimhen, there is a strong precedent for Nigerian strikers thriving under his leadership. Adams could well replicate that success and shine under Gattuso’s guidance.
