Transfer news: 3 Serie A clubs Akor Adams would thrive in

Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has been a major name in Sevilla’s transfer news, as he has been linked with a transfer to Serie A club Venezia, Afrik-Foot reports.

​The Nigerian striker was Los Nervionenses’ highest goalscorer in La Liga last season, recording ten goals and three assists in 32 appearances.

This marked a significant improvement from his debut season, which was hampered by injuries and inconsistent form.

​Given his recent performance, his future has become a major talking point this summer, with links to Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1 and several Premier League clubs.

Although newly promoted Serie A side Venezia have expressed interest and submitted a bid, it is difficult to envision a player of Adams’ current stature joining them.

​Nevertheless, the former Montpellier man seems custom-built for Serie A; he is fast, physically imposing, and dominant in aerial duels.
