Is Saudi Arabia the final destination for Victor Osimhen?
But the latest twist is coming from the Middle East.
According to reports from Italy, Saudi clubs Al Hilal and Al Ain, who will both play in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, are ready to pay Osimhen’s release clause.
The clause in his Napoli contract is worth 75 million euros, and it only applies to clubs outside Italy.

These two Saudi teams are expected to make their move in early June, just before the Club World Cup kicks off.
Because of the tournament, they will have access to an additional transfer window, giving them an edge over European sides.
Manchester United are said to be in direct contact with Osimhen’s representatives. Juventus want him too, but they will need to negotiate with Napoli since the release clause does not cover Serie A clubs.
The big question now is whether he will choose the big-money move to Saudi Arabia and play in the Club World Cup, or if he will stay in Europe and aim for Champions League football.
Either way, it is clear the race for his signature is wide open.
