Nigeria international Moses Simon has completed a transfer to Paris FC.
The newly promoted side have now won the race to sign the 29-year-old, who spent the past six seasons with former Ligue 1 champions Nantes and racked up 177 appearances in the French top flight. In doing so, they beat out competition from Marseille, as well as interest from the Premier League.
With Simon as their first big signing of the summer, it remains to be seen how Paris FC will go on to strengthen for an uphill battle to maintain their Ligue 1 status come the end of the 2025/26 season.

How much is Moses Simon costing Paris FC?
With only one year left on his contract with Nantes, Moses Simon was always going to be available for a knock-down price.

The messaging coming out of the Canaries’ camp was that they were holding out for a fee in the region of €10 million. However, per the latest reporting, Paris FC have reached an agreement to instead pay €7 million.
Simon has signed on for three years, a contract that will take him up to just before his 33rd birthday.
For a player who Nantes permanently picked up for €5 million back in 2020 following a successful loan spell, and who has given six years of service, it represents a decent return still.
