Victor Osimhen is expected to play for Galatasaray against Konyaspor on Friday after missing a training session to welcome his second daughter.
The Nigerian striker stayed in Istanbul on Thursday to spend time with his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, and their newborn, Liora Audrey. He did not travel with the rest of the Galatasaray squad to Konya but has been included in the matchday squad and is expected to join his teammates on Friday.
Galatasaray announced the birth on Thursday, October 29, congratulating Osimhen and his family and wishing the baby girl a long, healthy and happy life.
Liora Audrey is the couple’s second daughter. Their first child, Hailey True, was born in October 2022.

The birth comes as a relief for the family after Stefanie was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul’s Eyüpsultan district on October 13. She was eight months pregnant at the time but escaped without injuries. She was discharged from hospital after precautionary checks.
Osimhen targets another goal against Konyaspor
Osimhen heads into Friday’s match after scoring twice in Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Fenerbahçe in the Istanbul derby.
The 27-year-old has scored eight league goals this season and is among the leading scorers in the Turkish Süper Lig. His brace against Fenerbahçe helped Galatasaray move to 22 points from nine matches and tighten their grip on top spot.
Okan Buruk’s side will look to extend their lead with another victory, although Konyaspor could prove difficult to break down at home.
The hosts sit 14th with eight points but have kept three consecutive clean sheets at the Konya Büyükşehir Stadium.

Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem will be hoping to help Konyaspor frustrate the league leaders after scoring both goals in their 2-0 win over Gençlerbirliği last weekend.
Konyaspor can also draw confidence from their 2-0 victory over Galatasaray in February 2026.
However, Osimhen’s expected return gives the visitors a boost as they look to maintain their place at the top of the table.
The match kicks off at 6 pm Nigerian time on Friday, with Osimhen hoping to continue his scoring run if he takes the field.
