PUMA, in partnership with the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), has revealed the official match ball for AFCON 2025, named ITRI.
Inspired by Morocco’s centuries-old zellij art form, ITRI combines intricate geometric mosaics with cutting-edge performance technology. Its name pays tribute to the star on Morocco’s flag and reflects traditional star patterns found in Moroccan craftsmanship symbolizing unity and passion across African football.
The ball’s design features:

How Bafana Bafana Are Preparing for AFCON 2025
Coach Hugo Broos is leaving nothing to chance as South Africa gears up for Morocco. Bafana Bafana next match will be a key international friendly against Zambia on 15 November 2025 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha, with kick-off at 18:00.
Broos has also lined up another warm-up game against Angola closer to departure for Morocco, giving the team a chance to test tactics against a Group B opponent. These friendlies will allow Broos to assess new faces like Keletso Makgalwa and Masindi Nemtajela, alongside established stars such as Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena.
