‘Bafana Bafana’s World Cup squad is weak! Drop Kaizer Chiefs players; crime to leave Cupido but this is nonsense’

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos recently confirmed his preliminary 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

South Africa are among the 48 nations competing in the tournament, scheduled to start on June 11 and to be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It is the first time, since 2010, Mzansi will be playing in the global competition.

Definitely fair, most of these players deserve the call-ups! Can only wish them all the best going forward – Uncle B

We need Siyabonga Ngezana in that defense; non-negotiable. We’d rather leave Ime Okon for Ngezana – Mothlareelwa
