Chiefs advised on players to give second chance at Naturena as contracts near the end

The January transfer window is open and clubs are in the market to make some vital additions.

However, some players’ contracts are almost ending; Bruce Bvuma,  Brandon Petersen, Dillan Solomons,  Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Pule Mmodi are into the final six months of their current deal with Kaizer Chiefs.

Brandon Petersen and Dillan Solomons have managed to gain the trust of the technical team, but it is not the case with the remaining trio.

Former Glamour Boys defender Mokete Tsotetsi has now advised the Soweto giants on who to keep beyond the 2025/26 Premier Soccer league campaign. He has further explained the reasons for his arguments.

Who should Chiefs keep?

“It’s tricky, man, but I will start with Bruce. Bvuma, I think there is still a lot in him to help the team. So if he is given the chance to extend the contract, I think he still needs to be given the chance to give back to the team,” he told Soccer Laduma.

“With Ngcobo, eish. He has not been doing well lately, but we know what he can do. So I think if he is given the chance as well, he will rise and help the team and give the team silverware because we know what he can do.

“Even Mmodi. He has it in him, you know. That energy that the team needs. So those three that I have mentioned, if given the chance to extend contracts, then I think they can still add value in the team,” Tsotetsi concluded.

It is interesting to see who the team will add in the short January Transfer window.
