Kaizer Chiefs fans are still coming to terms with news that Amakhosi have been offered Sipho Mbule but there is another out-of-contract star that has also been made available to the club.

Chiefs are still mulling over whether to sign Mbule, whose agent Mike Makaab confirmed on Sunday that he has been offered to the Soweto giants, as they look to strengthen their squad.

Now, there are reports that both Chiefs and rivals Orlando Pirates have been offered midfielder Rowan Human who is due to leave AmaZulu when his contract expires this month.

Human has been in talks with Usuthu over a contract extension but an agreement has not been reached with both parties agreeing to part ways and he is now set to be available for free.

According to iDiski Times, the ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv star has been offered to both Pirates and Chiefs as a possible midfield solution that they can take a chance on without a transfer fee before his representatives explore other options.

It is now down to the two clubs to decide if it is a deal that suits them and if they opt against signing him, then he will look elsewhere.

What can suitors expect from the midfielder?

The 24-year-old had a decent 2024-25 season with AmaZulu when he scored three goals and provided six assists, winning the Man of the Match award three times, as he helped the club secure a sixth-place finish in the PSL.

Human is a player coach Arthur Zwane would have loved to keep at AmaZulu but it appears the terms offered to him were not enticing enough hence his decision to explore other options instead.

Chiefs and Pirates are looking to strengthen key areas of their teams, with midfield one of them, although the Buccaneers are reported to have already signed midfielder Masindi Nemtajela from Marumo Gallants while Baroka FC defender Tshepo Mashiloane is reportedly being wooed.
