Former Orlando Pirates left-back Paseka Mako has been rumoured to be on his way to Kaizer Chiefs.
The 31-year-old is a free agent after being released by the Sea Robbers, a club he has served since 2019 following his move from Chippa United. Miguel Timm, Innocent Maela, and Thabiso Monyane are the other players whom the Buccaneers opted to release.
Take a look at what the fans in Mzansi said after speculation that Mako might be playing for Amakhosi next season.
Tell me you are joking!

I now believe that the former Sundowns Scout, whom Chiefs hired, is there to destroy Amakhosi. Chiefs are far from bringing back the glory days – Mlu Lex Nontwana
So Kaizer Chiefs are signing every player who runs out of contract!. Anyway, let them come, we want to compete – Ishmael Mahanyele
I remember him throwing the Kaizer Chiefs regalia away in his celebration after the Pirates' win. He must address that before he signs – AK Ngcobo
Tell me you are joking, right? We don't want him anywhere near Kaizer Chiefs, we'd rather stick with Bongane Sam – Marvin Majimisi
It seems like Chiefs are going to be a dumping area for Sundowns and Pirates now. The glory days are gone for our beloved Chiefs – Bongani Ncane Mlambo
It means Saleng is coming

This one [Paseka Mako] is a good player Chiefs must sign him. Pirates made a big mistake by releasing this guy – Mbabane Mathi
Do Kaizer Chiefs ever develop players or search for smaller teams? Or do they just want what Sundowns and Pirates have? – Ntjapeli Vietnam
My thoughts, as much, I know my club; Thabiso Monyane could be better than this one but I feel Chiefs are broke – Nakeng
If one of Orlando Pirates' former player signs for Kaizer Chiefs, then it means Monnapule Saleng is coming, he will not sign anything in his current club – Blessings Are Mine
Now we have become a laughing stock at Naturena, so what is that player going to bring to Kaizer Chiefs? He was a bench warmer at Pirates, and we are just taking him! Poor management, next season we should also forget about finishing in the top 8 – Owen Both
