Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has warned the fans against expecting too much from the team since it is still a work in progress.
Since his appointment as Amakhosi coach, the Tunisian has managed to change the club's mentality.
The Glamour Boys have collected six points from three Premier Soccer League matches played, and have also managed to get the Carling Knockout ticket. On Saturday, the Soweto Giants will be at the Peter Mokaba Stadium playing SuperSport United in the PSL outing.
‘It will take a lot of time' – Chiefs faithful warned
“We are happy that the fans are happy with the results, but we are still far away from where we want to be,” the former AS FAR Rabat tactician stated.
“We are in a period of building, and it will take a lot of time, but even in that period of building, we need to get the results to keep the club going forward. We are aware of the fact that in the future it might happen that we go through difficult moments, but we know our strategy and how we want our team to play, and we hope the support will still be there.
“This season is a period of transition from one step to another step. There will be difficult steps, but we take one game at a time, and we will do everything to make the supporters happy and get a positive result in every game we play,” Nabi concluded.
SuperSport have lost three games out of the five played in the league, won once, and drawn the other.
