‘Chiefs players are for COSAFA! Bafana Bafana double-check Mokoena before playing him’

Coach Hugo Broos confirmed his squad for the fortcoming Group C's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The 23-man-squad is dominated by Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns who have produced eight players apiece. Bafana Bafana play Zimbabwe away before hosting Rwanda in a must-win games after being docked three points for fielding a suspended Teboho Mokoena in March against Lesotho.

However, no Kaizer Chiefs player has been considered for the international assignments.
