Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to axe head coach Nasreddine Nabi despite winning the Nedbank Cup trophy, according to TimesLIVE.
The Tunisian coach was appointed by the Phefeni Glamour Boys with his technical team Khalil Ben Youssef (First assistant coach), Fernando Da Cruz (Second assistant coach), Ilyes Mzoughi (Goalkeeping coach) and Safi Majdi (Strength and conditioning coach and assistant coach).
He was tasked with the responsibility to improve the team and bring back the glory days to Naturena.
The Glamour Boys had not lifted major silverware since Stuart Baxter guided them to the Absa Premiership title on May 9, 2015, at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha. This long wait made today's triumph all the sweeter for their supporters.

NABI ENDED CHIEFS’ 10-YEAR TROPHY DROUGHT
Amakhosi ended their decade-long trophy drought after they downed Orlando Pirates 2-1 in the Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Gaston Sirino and Yusuf Maart’s goals propelled Amakhosi to the victory with Evidence Makgopa scoring the only goal for Ezimnyama Ngenkani.
The Kaizer Motaung-owned side had a tough journey to the Nedbank Cup final, defeating Free Agents, Chippa United, Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns.
In spite of all these, TimesLIVE has reported that the 59-year-old tactician will be shown the exit door at the end of the campaign.
Meanwhile, according to Afrik-Foot sources, the club’s chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung isn’t happy about Chiefs’ run under the tutelage of the former Young Africans mentor.
He’s said to have highlighted that there’s little improvement in the team since Nabi arrived. He has also been attending the training, observing things, planning for the upcoming season.
