‘Chiefs signing free agents & wait clueless Nabi to perform? But firing him is inviting bad luck!’

Published on by

Kaizer Chiefs and Nasreddine Nabi have reportedly parted ways on a mutual consent slightly more than a year after taking over the reigns.

In his first season, he helped end the club's decade-long drought by winning the Nedbank Cup. However, it was not a good outing in the Premier Soccer League where Amakhosi finished ninth.

At the beginning of the season, the Tunisian missed the initial four games owing to a family emergency. In his absence, Amakhosi won all the opening four matches but upon his return the team has lost one game and drawn the other.

Have a look at the reactions by fans regarding Nabi's potential exit.

I blame coach Tinkler for Nabi's sacking

Nasreddine Nabi and Eric Tinkler

Good Riddance! This individual is not only damaging Kaizer Chiefs' morale among players but also eroding the talent of these players, which we need for the World Cup next year. As a non-Kaizer Chiefs supporter, I would have fired him last season when he couldn’t make the top 8 – Mondli E. Zulu

Nabi is useless!! clueless! Just fire him. We won't miss you, coach, only Orlando Pirates,  because you made us a laughing stock – Bongani

So he won the Nedbank cup with a birth certificate? But I blame coach Eric Tinkler for Nabi's sacking – Bona Bonani

I would like to apologize to those who kept saying Nabi is coaching with a clinic card and I was protecting him all along – Sibulele Maposa

Eish! He should have waited a bit so that we as Pirates we can cook him well enough then he can leave with peace – Tebza Shelby

Nabi used a plumbing certificate all along?

Kaizer Chiefs are waiting for free agent players and expecting a coach to succeed – Sisonke Viti

For some reasons it doesn't make sense. Are Kaizer Chiefs trying to tell us that they didn't go through his CV which I believe includes all the information to tell if the person is the right candidate for the job? Or am I missing something here? – Itz Rampage

So he used a plumbing certificate all along? Thanks for bringing a trophy after 10 years of drought – Banda Baza

Good move; they played four games without him. He came with a loss and a draw. Release this guy. He has players but he can't form a good starting lineup – Phelelani Khathi

The coach hasn't even finished his remaining years with Kaizer Chiefs they are considering sacking him that's inviting bad luck – Siviwe Swartbooi Jack
