City will ‘have a problem’ despite wins over Chiefs and Pirates – Muhsin

Cape Town City coach Muhsin Ertugral is worried about the fairly easy Marumo Gallants in the Premier Soccer League outing even after important wins against the Soweto giants in the last two assignments.

The Citizens claimed a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday, before registering another victory on Wednesday against Orlando Pirates by the same margin. It is the result that put them sixth on the table with 17 points from 12 outings.

On Saturday, City will be away against Gallants at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Gallants have been struggling in the league; they are currently 13th on the table after three wins, two draws and seven losses. However, Muhsin is concerned about his players' mindset ahead of the game.

City players are a bit tired but…

“You can win these two games, and we’re going to have a problem [in the weekend],” he opened up to journalists.

“Oh, you can’t have it so obviously, yeah, I know this is one of our biggest problem, the consistency, the linear in that we need to call up now a little bit more, the automatism, the pattern you know that with automatism is routine comes then that you come in the game.

“So, we know that. I know that very well, as I said, Yeah, we need to talk about that. But we have also, the team is a bit tired, because they really played out of the, so we need to see now, tomorrow and on Friday, because we’re flying on Friday, there’s only one flight very early, five o’clock or six o’clock, I think so, very early, out to Bloemfontein.

“So, we need to find measures how they going to rest the team out. This is high altitude there, if I’m not mistaken, as well heat. So, that’s exactly what you’re saying. We need to see how we can get the best out of the boys. Yeah, I agree that we face tonight,” Muhsin concluded.
