South African Thembinkosi Lorch continued with his fine form this weekend as he inspired his team Wydad Casablanca to sustain their top position in the Botola Pro League.

The 32-year-old – who has been overlooked by Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Boos severally, was on target as Waydad Athletic Club beat Olympique de Safi 2-1 on Sunday. It was his fourth goal in the Moroccan top-flight football, and fifth in nine games across all competitions.
