Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Sifiso Hlanti could be about to sign for TS Galaxy in what would be a reunion with his ex-team-mate Keagan Dolly.
Hlanti has been without a club since leaving Chiefs at the end of last season but according to Soccer Laduma, he is close to securing a deal with the Rockets who are looking for defensive reinforcements.
Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has seen his club improve in fortunes in recent matches and the club appear to be ready to back him further in the transfer market with a defender among players he is keen to sign.
Galaxy looking for experienced players
The Rockets have badly missed Pogiso Sanoko who moved to SuperSport United and Hlanti will provide experience and also allow the tactician to use him either as a left-sided centre-back or left-back.
Galaxy are believed to be close to signing former Chippa United and AmaZulu star Veluyeke Zuku.
The club has prioritised experience in the January transfer window following the arrival of Dolly, who has been used sparingly so far, since his signing in November.
Galaxy started the season poorly but have so far improved, going unbeaten in their last five matches, winning two and drawing two to lift them to 11th on the table with 10 points.
