Sekhukhune United striker Bradley Grobler is frustrated by his failure to make the Bafana Bafana squad regardless of his form.
The 37-year-old has always been a factor in the Premier Soccer League, scoring goals consistently. In the ongoing campaign, he has already scored seven goals across all competitions, six in the South African top tier.

However, South Africa's technical team, led by coach Hugo Broos, has overlooked the veteran forward from the preliminary squad preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Rwanda, respectively.
Grobler argues he has done everything to show that he is ready to be considered, but his efforts have not been recognised.
Broos can't change his mind about me
“It’s tough. It’s frustrating. I would like to be part of the team, especially because they are in such a great space at the moment,” he told FARPost.
“There are exciting things coming for the team, and it’s always a dream to be there, especially now. But mentally, I think I can do anything within the league.

“I can score 100 goals, but I just don’t think he [Bafana coach Hugo Broos] can change his mind about me.
“It’s hard to accept it, but what more can I do? I will keep pushing and keep fighting, but mentally I do have that thing in my head where [I feel] I don’t think it’s going to be real. But that’s not to say I won’t keep fighting and trying. But it’s hard, it’s difficult, but it’s life,” Grobler concluded.
