Kaizer Chiefs coach Khalil Ben Youssef has explained the position best suited for Mfundo Vilakazi who has enjoyed more game time this season.
Vilakazi is among a number of young players who came through the Chiefs academy and have been stacking claim on a place in the starting XI but there has been debate over where he is best suited.
The 20-year-old has been deployed either on the wing or behind the main striker and in 18 appearances this season, he has one goal and an assist to his name.

“Mfundo Vilakazi can play both positions, he can play as a winger and he can play as a playmaker,” said Ben Youssef as quoted by iDiski Times.
“He is one of the best players for us. I think let’s take it all the players, we can’t only discuss about an individual player. It can be Vilakazi, it can be [Mduduzi] Shabalala it can be [Gaston] Sirino the playmaker and winger.
“It can be [Glody] Lilepo, it can be [Pule] Mmodi. I think all the players are ready to play and for us as technical staff is to choose the right squad for the game,” added the Tunisian coach.

Vilakazi has had to fight for his place in the team and in recent matches, he started on the bench in four of their last five games.
He will be looking to be involved on Tuesday when Chiefs take on Stellenbosch FC before the Soweto Derby on Saturday.
However, he is among players on yellow cards which means one more booking will lock him out of the big game at the weekend and it remains to be seen how Ben Youssef and his co-coach Cedric Kaze will navigate the tricky situation.
