Kaizer Chiefs' Marketing and Commercial Director, Jessica Motaung, has confirmed that the club is in the process of signing new players, with some set to join the squad for their upcoming pre-season tour in the Netherlands.
Motaung made these remarks on the sidelines of the 2025 Toyota Cup launch, a competition that will see Chiefs take on Asante Kotoko at Moses Mabhida Stadium on July 26.
Chiefs have remained tight-lipped regarding their new additions, only revealing player departures thus far.
Nonetheless, Motaung assured supporters that the technical team and management are hard at work, with expectations that new recruits will be part of the pre-season camp.

‘THE TEAM IS STILL BUSY WITH THAT’
“The team is still busy with that, we still have another week to go,” she told journalists as quoted by iDiski Times.
“But certainly there’s a lot of work being done. I am aware of players who are currently signing, so once that is all sorted out, if they are ready to travel to the Netherlands, they will come through.
“Obviously, there may be delays with paperwork and visas. Those are some of the things we may have to deal with.
“But we’re certainly trying to bring the players who can come to the Netherlands and make sure that they are together.
“But certainly, even after that, we’ll be having a lot of tight sessions to make sure people haven’t been part of the tour, they’ll be part of the additional preparations leading up to the Toyota club and also after that.”
