Kaizer Chiefs have given an update over the shoulder injury suffered by full-back Reeve Frosler in March as the team begins pre-season in the Netherlands.
Chiefs landed at the Amsterdam Airport on Friday morning after an 11-hour direct flight from Johannesburg's OR Tambo and headed directly to Apeldoorn where they will be based during their two-week stay in Europe.

According to the club, Frosler has recovered from his dislocated shoulder bone injury, which he sustained in the match against Cape Town City in March.
Who will Chiefs play in Holland?
“It meant that Frosler didn't have much of an off-season as the wing-back visited the High-Performance Centre at Chiefs Village five times a week to be fully recovered ahead of the pre-season training camp,” Chiefs said over Froseler’s injury.
“The 27-year-old did manage to sleep during the flight [to the Netherlands], but he also used some of the time to watch his favourite TV-series 9-1-1.”

Chiefs’ camp in Europe will see them face Dutch sides Vitesse, FC Utrecht, NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente in friendly matches and Frosler, who was part of the squad that made it to Turkey for pre-season last summer hopes this year’s experience is better.
Frosler upbeat over pre-season camp
“I like it that we know this year exactly who we will be playing against. Besides that, the environment where we stay is very nice. Very quiet also. Pre-season is always so important, as that's where you lay the foundation for the season. The atmosphere in the camp is excellent. Pre-season is hard work, but we are ready for it,” he said.

Chiefs are hoping to get in shape ahead of the 2025-26 season which will see them seek an improvement from the ninth position of last term and also get to the latter stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Glamour Boys’ five new signings Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Ethan Chislett and Flavio Silva are part of the team in the Netherlands while the latest recruit Siphesihle Ndlovu will join them once he gets clearance.
