The next day, Chiefs will face second tier club NEC Nijmegen at Overasselt and will also be open to the public before they take on PEC Zwolle at Meppel three days later, a match fans will be able to watch.

“During the camp, members of the media will be invited to attend selected training sessions, where there will be opportunities to engage with players and members of the technical team. Moreover, they will be able to interact with a group of Chiefs supporters who will be traveling with the squad,” said a statement from Chiefs.

“Kaizer Chiefs look forward to a successful and productive pre-season tour, confident that the experience will not only lay a strong foundation for the 2025/26 campaign but will also contribute to the strengthening of football ties between South Africa and the Netherlands.”

Chiefs, who camped in Turkey last year, ate hoping the trip to the Netherlands will prepare the team well for the 2025-26 season where improvements are expected after a disappointing ninth-place finish last term.
