‘None of Kaizer Chiefs players deserve World Cup but I’m tired with plumbers! Who signed Miguel? Sell him with Bvuma’

Kaizer Chiefs‘ seven-match unbeaten run ended on Wednesday night when they fell 2-0 away to Siwelele in the Premier Soccer League assignment.

Strikes from Tebogo Potsane and Siphesihle Jeza ensured Siwelele have collected four points from the Glamour Boys in their debut campaign in the South African top-flight football after buying the status of a now-defunct SuperSport United.

This was not anticipated by Amakhosi faithful who had seen their team battle Orlando Pirates to a 1-1 draw in the Soweto Derby. Have a look at their reactions as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

The Sunday alcohol was still running through Kaizer Chiefs’ veins for celebrating a draw –  Sizwe Nkosi

Expecting Chiefs to beat Siwelele is like expecting Hugo Bross to call George Matlou to the national team –  Rha Nga Nii

Mr. Referee did it for Siwelewele. I think we lost that game due to the middleman (Mr Ref) –  Salvation Lulama

I wonder who signed Inacio Miguel. Put him on a free transfer alongside Bruce Bvuma –  Thulani Mnisi

Why did Potsane celebrate the goal against his former team? That was so unprofessional – Kunta Kgomo Eland

Truth be told, none of our players deserve to go to the World Cup; their mentality is just questionable. The closest is Brandon Petersen, though he makes crucial saves, he also makes elementary mistakes weekly, like parrying the ball back infield instead of sideways – Melton Mabuela

This chop and change of the winning team is uncalled for. What is wrong with these co-coaches? They change the winning team squad now and then – Ayanda

It’s understandable to give some players game time, but you can’t afford to bench in-form players and risk losing the game – Simon Maloka

Mfundo Vilakazi came on and created three big chances, and none of them were converted. I’m sick and tired of these plumbers, man – Nqobani

When it is Kaze that puts up a starting lineup, we lose. This guy must just cease and give Khalil Ben Youssef a platform. Whatever he is doing is actually not working – Omolemo
