Kaizer Chiefs have laid their intentions for the 2026/27 Premier Soccer League season clear.
The Glamour Boys started the season with coach Fernando Da Cruz, who replaced Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef. The duo had taken over from Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi; the former Yanga SC coach parted ways with the Soweto giants early last season.

Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung has now revealed that the new technical team has been given a target of winning the Premier Soccer League crown. He further confirmed that they are not done with bringing in new players to further strengthen.
“The new coach obviously knows he has to win the league, he has to win cups, he has to bring the glory days back,” he said as quoted by FARPost.
“He must enjoy his work with the support that we are giving him with the players and everybody.

“In football, you never stop thinking of any new signings. In football, you are always looking for the best. If you get the best in the market, you get it, and if you can afford it and there is space for them and the coach needs them, we will always support,” Motaung concluded.
