Kaizer Chiefs will host Cape Town City in the Premier Soccer League fixture that will be staged at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Citizens are desperate for maximum points to strengthen their bid to finish inside the top eight and play the MTN8 next season. The Glamour Boys are pushing for the Caf Champions League spot, or at least the Caf Confederation Cup ticket.
The Cape Town outfit are currently placed eighth on the table with 28 points, six more than City who are currently 10th on the table.
Teams' Recent Form and Head-to-Head Record

The Glamour Boys have won their last two games across all competitions; they beat Magesi FC by a solitary goal in the Premier Soccer League before a controversial 3-1 win over Stellenbosch in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final outing.
They will be chasing their third consecutive win across all competitions.
The Citizens are winless in their last eight games across all competitions, explaining why coach Muhsin Ertugral needs victory.
In the initial meeting this season, City claimed a 1-0 win; as a matter of fact, they have won three out of the last five meetings across all competitions, losing just once and drawing once as well.
What They Said

“We've closed the chapter of the cup win [against Stellenbosch], and we now open the league chapter,” coach Nasreddien Nabi said ahead of the game.
“This league game [against City] is important. I want the same spirit as in the last game from my players; first, because City are a good team, forget their last few games where they've been struggling to win,” Nabi said.
“Second, Muhsin Ertugral beat me in Cape Town. Kaizer Chiefs need the points, so we have to play every game with a cup-final spirit,” he concluded.”
Team News and Probable XI
The hosts are not sure about the availability of Rushwin Dortley – who might be out until next season per rumours from Naturena, and Glody Lilepo who have been nursing injuries, but latest reports indicate they have a high chance of shrugging their knocks off ahead of the match.

However, Tashreeq Morris is out for three weeks alongside the suspended Brandon Petersen. Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Edson Castillo are back while Wandile Duba is working on his match fitness.
City have not confirmed any new injuries but Nathan Idumba, Phila Thabo Nodada, and Tshegofatso Nyama are a yellow card away from suspension.
Kaizer Chiefs Probable XI: Bvuma, Miguel, Dove, Frosler, Msimango, Sirino, Cele, Mmodi, Ngcobo, Du Preez, Lilepo
Cape Town City Probable XI: Keet, Gordinho, Nyama, Idumba, Mokotjo, Domingo, Makaringe, Gonzalez, Rhodes, Dondolo, Soukouna.
