Former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Keagan Dolly has finally landed a new club following his unveiling by TS Galaxy.
Dolly has been without a club since parting ways with Chiefs in June and after rumours linking him to SuperSport United, it is Galaxy who have secured his signature as he begins a new chapter in his career.
“Welcome Keagan Dolly. We are excited to have you join the team! Signed and sealed, let’s achieve great things together,” Galaxy confirmed Dolly’s arrival via a social media post.
Dolly becomes the first signing for newly-appointed coach Adnan Beganovic who replaced Sead Ramovic, who quit at the end of last month, and has since been hired as the new boss of Tanzanian giants Yanga.
Will Dolly’s arrival inspire a revival at Galaxy?
The former Montpellier attacker had a difficult three years at Chiefs where injuries and poor form conspired to limit his quality and appearances while he also admitted that rumours that he was the highest paid player, reportedly on R1 million monthly salary, affected his output.
Now, Dolly will be hoping to turn a new page with the Rockets who are desperately in need of some creativity and goals as they sit bottom of the PSL table on two points after losing four while drawing two of their opening six matches of the season.
Dolly has signed a one-year contract, with the option for another, at the club which will hope that his arrival can inspire some revival.
