‘Lorch escaped Berlin Wall! Sundowns almost ruined his career; Ribeiro, Mudau & Shalulile next’

Mamelodi Sundowns have officially announced the exit of versatile attacker Thembinkosi Lorch, who struggled for game time at the club he joined from Orlando Pirates two years ago.

The 32-year-old played for Wydad Athletic, albeit on loan, for the second half of the 2024/25 Botola Pro League campaign. He impressed in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and the Moroccan outfit made an offer to Masandawana for the attacker.

These are the reactions from the football fans in the country following the recent confirmation by the defending Premier Soccer League champions.
