The quest for a third CAF Women’s Champions League title has officially begun for Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who learned their group stage opponents in the COSAFA qualifiers on Tuesday morning.
The two-time African champions, who are also five-time Hollywoodbets Super League winners, Banyana Ba Style were drawn into Group A for the regional tournament.
The competition is slated to take place on home soil, with matches scheduled at the University of Johannesburg’s AW Muller Stadium from August 22nd to 31st.

Sundowns Ladies will have to navigate a challenging group that includes Zesco Ndola Girls FC from Zambia, Ntopwa FC of Malawi, and Namibia’s Beauties FC.

The stakes are incredibly high, as this year’s qualifiers feature a record 10 clubs all fighting for the single spot to represent the COSAFA region in the continental finals.
The draw also outlined the challenging path for the other competing teams. Group B pits last year's finalists, Gaborone United of Botswana, against Young Buffaloes from Eswatini and Lesotho’s Kick4Life WFC.
In Group C, Zimbabwean side Herentals Queens will face tough opposition from Costa do Sol of Mozambique and Olympic De Moroni from the Comoros Islands.
With only the top three group winners and one best second-placed team advancing to the semifinals, every minute of every match will be critical for the teams hoping to keep their continental dreams alive.
The tournament promises to be a tense and exciting affair as the region’s best women's football clubs battle for supremacy.
