Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has claimed that their CAF Champions League final opponents AS FAR Rabat obtained tactical videos of his team’s match against Kaizer Chiefs.
Sundowns and AS FAR clash in the first leg of the final on Saturday, May 17 and Cardoso says the Moroccan team are the beneficiaries of leaked footage from the PSL champions.
“I can tell you one thing, people might not accept what I’m going to say but I know that ASFAR, on the following day we played against Kaizer Chiefs had a wide-angled video from our game… delivered,” he said on SuperSport TV as reported by iDiski Times.
“I know because someone saw. So we are fighting against a lot of things but we are strong enough to deal with everything.”

Orlando Pirates are in prime position to win the PSL title and end Mamelodi Sundowns’ eight-year reign but Sundowns boss Miguel Cardoso claims they have had it easy.
Cardoso, who has maintained that the fixtures have not favoured his team, claims their opponents are having a “walk on the park” while his charges struggle with heavy workload.
“Last year was a season completely different from this one – this season was a walk in the park for some of our opponents,” he claimed. “We have been fighting like big, big men, with a lot of commitment, with a lot of will to overcome difficulties, and we will continue until the limit of our strengths.”

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso insists his team has been affected greatly by a number of factors that have slowed their title run somewhat.
Sundowns won 7-4 against Siwelele FC on Saturday, an unusual result in the PSL, and while it was a good game for the neutrals, it left Cardoso worried but he feels it is down to a lack of a conducive environment for his team to perform optimally.
“The players that were on the pitch were on the limit, we’re going to play in three days, going to play Champions League after the TS Galaxy match and as much as I wanted there was a big risk of injuries,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV as quoted by KickOff.
“Tashreeq is on the wire, thin wire on those legs, Brayan already on the second match.
“Nuno coming from a muscle injury, Arthur also not calm so a lot of problems at home it seems, but we’re struggling, struggling a lot. Look, we’re fighting everything, fighting calendar, we’re fighting… I don’t want to talk more; we’re fighting everything and maybe people that is at home watching the game on sofas.”
