Onyango on why Williams is uniquely talented

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango has explained what makes his teammate Ronwen Williams stand out.

Onyango has been playing second fiddle to Williams since the former SuperSport United goalkeeper joined Sundowns in 2022 and he accepts the Bafana Bafana No.1 deserves to play ahead of him.

“I don’t think there is anyone who can play out from the back like Ronwen. I do not think I can do that as well,” Onyango told the Pitchside Podcast.

Mamelodi Sundowns will play their final game of the season without right-back Khuliso Mudau due to suspension.

Mudau has been a permanent feature in the starting XI but will not play against TS Galaxy on Tuesday, May 12 because he picked up his eighth yellow card of the season against Siwelele FC on Saturday.

He joins Jayden Adams on the suspension list after the midfielder was sent off against Kaizer Chiefs last Wednesday.
