Mamelodi Sundowns have been backed to beat Orlando Pirates to the PSL title by at least two points. Pirates are currently ahead of Sundowns by one point, although the Brazilians have a game in hand but veteran coach Walter Rautmann thinks the Soweto Derby could turn things in favour of the champions.
“Pirates are playing Kaizer Chiefs, and Chiefs are also coming along now. That will be a tough game. Sundowns have played too many games recently, and just last weekend played in the Champions League,” he told KickOff.
“With that said, I still believe Sundowns will win it by one or two points,” added the former AmaZulu FC and Black Leopards coach.

Mamelodi Sundowns’ rescheduled PSL fixture against Polokwane City has seen changes effected again with a new venue being chosen by the host team.
Sundowns were initially set to play Rise and Shine on April 15 but the match was moved to April 29 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, owing to their CAF Champions League semi-final commitments.
Now, the match will be played on the same day but at a different venue which is the Seshego Stadium, the home of Magesi FC.
Best way to beat Sundowns? Hunt reveals tactical approach

Stellenbosch FC coach Gavin Hunt has opened up over how he nullified the Brazilians during their 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Hunt’s team picked up a point when many thought they would lose and frustrated Sundowns throughout as Miguel Cardoso’s team failed to make inroads into dangerous areas.
“There’s different ways to approach them but I think we create spaces for chances because if you’re gonna go after them, they’ll pick you off, we gave them space so we have space to run onto,” said Hunt, explaining why Stellies let Sundowns hog possession but not in key zones.
