Orlando Pirates captain Nkosinathi Sibisi is fit again to lead the Buccaneers against Stellenbosch in the MTN8 final on Saturday.
The Sea Robbers skipper has been nursing an unspecified injury for the last couple of weeks, which has seen him miss some crucial games. As a matter of fact, he has featured just once in the MTN8, in the 2-0 quarter-final win over Polokwane City.

The 29-year-old Bafana Bafana international was not part of the Bucs team that played Mamelodi Sundowns in a two-legged semi-final. However, he is ready to lead the Soweto giants against Stellies, a team they beat in the final last year to win the unprecedented third MTN8 title in a row.
‘I am ready for the weekend'
“Preparations for the game are going well. It’s good to be back training with the players again. It’s been a positive week for us, and we are looking forward to creating history in front of a full Mbombela,” he told the club's media team.
“It’s never easy whenever you are injured. In terms of selection, I am ready for the weekend.”
The defender is happy with what his assistant Mbekezeli Mbokazi has done, insisting Bucs have to win the competition. “Credit to Mbokazi for the way he has been leading the team in my absence.
“Kudos to him for what he’s been doing for both the club and the national team. As a group, we embrace competition and will do everything to create history and keep the cup. After all, it is our cup,” he concluded.
