Samkelo Zwane shone for Kaizer Chiefs against Sekhukhune United, following coach Nasreddine Nabi's directive to push further up the field.
The young midfielder was a key figure in the attack, generating numerous scoring opportunities throughout the match.
Although these initial efforts didn't yield immediate results, Zwane ultimately provided the assist for substitute Mfundo Vilakazi's decisive goal in the 87th minute, securing a 1-0 victory for his team.
This standout performance earned Zwane the Man of the Match award, silencing his critics within the club's fanbase.

‘HE TOLD ME I’LL PLAY A BIT HIGHER’
“Yeah I mean, for today’s game we changed our shape a little bit in the progression,” said Zwane on SuperSport TV.
“The coach told me that I’m going to play a bit higher, a bit box-to-box, but like higher he wants me to play high. So, I just took the instructions and results came.”
Meanwhile, Zwane also expressed his delight for having returned to the starting line-up.
“It feels good to be back in the starting line-up,” added Zwane.
“You know, I’ve been working hard off the field and staying after training doing some finishing and extra work.
“I just want to thank my teammates, thank the coach, thank the whole KC family, they showed a lot of support in me, and I thank God I was given a chance today.”
