The Amakhosi coach still wants to beef up his squad ahead of the new season

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi is still looking to beef up his squad even after signing seven players in the transfer window.

Chiefs still have up to September 20 to complete their transfer business and after concentrating their efforts on the defence, Nabi now wants the club to turn their attention to the offence.

โ€œI do not think it will be the final squad, we are still working on bringing in new players and strengthening the team,โ€ said Nabi, whose team unveiled midfielder Njabulo Blom and defender Bradley Cross, on Tuesday.ย ย

Who is Nasreddine Nabi looking to bring in?

โ€œA big club like Kaizer Chiefs needs a high level of quality in all areas. I need strikers and maybe a winger,โ€ he added.

Nabi then explained how his search for a striker has proved problematic due to the fact that he is keen to ensure he gets the right profile.

โ€œIt is easier to look for a defender than a striker,โ€ added the former FAR Rabat and Yanga coach, who is believed to be looking for a striker that is comfortable operating from the box.

Finding a striker has proved tough for Kaizer Chiefs

โ€œIf you need an offensive player, you need to take your time and look well for the right profile. We have looked well in defence and I donโ€™t have these opportunities for attack but we will continue to look with my staff and committee because I need a striker and a winger.โ€

Besides Blom and Cross, Chiefs have also signed ex-Sundowns attacker Gaston Sirino, goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, defenders Miguel Inacio, Bongani Sam and Rushwin Dortley.
